So my blogging is slipping … already

What can I say? It’s been crazy at the Roth House the last few weeks. The kids have started back to school and my work has slowed a bit, but somehow everything feels more crazy! Can anyone tell me how that works?

In part it’s because we spent several days out at the farm helping tear down the old milk barn. Here are a few pictures. It was a dirty job, but I suppose somebody had to do it!

I’ll post more as we make progress. I hear they started knocking down the walls, but I was home with sick kids that day!

That’s right, in addition to this project, the entire house (except me, yeah!) has had the stomach flu … yuck! I’ve been feeling a bit on the crummy side the last few days, but I think it’s from cleaning up after four others!

With school back in full swing that also means that AWANA has started. The church has a new website (which I helped with) so you can checkout what’s going on there! We are super excited to have a new pastor for the church. He will start preaching in October and I’m so looking forward to having Dennis and his wife, Lisa, here. I’m praying that the church will grow and prosper with new leadership.

I’m excited to be heading into a long weekend, even though it means a lot of chores (steam cleaning, kraut burgers, etc.) and a packed work week coming up next week! Wish me luck!
