I Heart Faces People’s Choice Awards … This is one of my favorites from Lauryn’s Session.
If you love photographs (and photographing) as much as I do, you have to check out I Heart Faces. It’s a great resources for tips and tricks, but what I love most is the inspiration.
This week the photo theme is A Touch Of Sun! I love these pictures. Here’s on of my all time favorites!
Jayce has hit the “Why? Stage” a bit early. Except instead of asking the infamous toddler question “Why?” he asks “Dat?”
He wants to know what everything is. He’ll walk around any room and with a constant stream of: Dat? Dat? Dat? as he points to everything in sight. Sometime he really adds some emphasis to it: daaaat?
It got me to thinking about all the words he starting to say. A few weeks ago it was just mamma, daddy, em and dat? Here’s an update:

That’s right, in addition to this project, the entire house (except me, yeah!) has had the stomach flu … yuck! I’ve been feeling a bit on the crummy side the last few days, but I think it’s from cleaning up after four others!
With school back in full swing that also means that AWANA has started. The church has a new website (which I helped with) so you can checkout what’s going on there! We are super excited to have a new pastor for the church. He will start preaching in October and I’m so looking forward to having Dennis and his wife, Lisa, here. I’m praying that the church will grow and prosper with new leadership.
I’m excited to be heading into a long weekend, even though it means a lot of chores (steam cleaning, kraut burgers, etc.) and a packed work week coming up next week! Wish me luck!

I had so much fun shooting Lauryn’s Senior Pictures. It was a pretty warm day when we started, but then the clouds moved in and eventually it rained on us … pretty good too! We didn’t let that bother us. We finished up Lauryn’s session with some dancing in the rain! I’ve finally finished editing [...]
